‘Compelling Content that tells a story’
As international travel improves and costs fall, an increasing number of people are travelling further afield for their weekend or short breaks. Jersey Tourism needed to arrest this trend and increase spending by visitors.
By turning Jersey Tourism’s strategy on its head, we completely restructured the marketing department’s thinking. We looked at the type of visitors to the island and their experiences with the place. That included the local businesses and attractions and their offerings. By focusing on Jersey’s key features and stories from its local inhabitants we invited personalities
such as Ben Fogle, John Cleese and the One show’s Mike Dilger to the island to experience a
weekend itinerary of events and on their return they wrote vibrant articles. The articles were used for a variety of media from the website to brochures, guides and advertising
Not only did our work become the focal point for all of Jersey Tourism’s marketing
collateral, it won the prestigious Communicators in Business Award, two years in a row!
